Komal Ghazaali is a portrait and documentary photographer whose work explores themes of memory, identity, culture, and human resilience. Her photography focuses on capturing intimate human stories and the quiet complexities of life, often working with communities navigating social, cultural, and environmental change. With a Bachelor’s degree in Filmmaking and a European Master in Professional Photography from Paris, France, Ghazaali brings a cinematic sensibility to her visual storytelling, where she combines narrative depth with an authentic, grounded approach shaped by her experience in filmmaking and media consulting.
Ghazaali's work has been recognized on national and international platforms, including the Best Director Award for her documentary Surgardish, her cinematography for Faqeers of Bhitshah showcased at the Cannes Short Film Corner, and photography featured by National Geographic. Her recent projects explore human-wildlife conflict, environmental conservation, and coexistence, using portraits and documentary imagery to create space for reflection and dialogue.
